We are proud to have truly mastered the MS45 ECU. Forced Induction Tunes for MS45 are very complex, it is imperative you choose the right tuner to take on this aspect of your project (like us.) When we are done, you'll have a MS45 car with OEM+ like drivability and clean, safe, FULL power on demand. We can't tell you how many times we have seen poorly executed calibrations from even name brand companies, only a few in the world are truly up to this challenge. Even the OTS (off the shelf) tunes that come with your supercharger kits aren't too great either.

Chaos Calibrations offers some of the most in-depth calibrations for the MS45 ECU platform in the world with the most extensive feature list till this date. With access to thousands of parameters and proper documentation, we can unlock almost anything your heart desires. We have spent countless hours dialing in calibrations for both Naturally aspirated and forced induction applications. You can be rest assured when you purchase your MS45 ECU tune for your ZHP, facelift E46, E60, etc.; you will be receiving the best tunes and support bar none.

-What's the process?-
You are purchasing our remote tuning service. After purchasing your tune, you will receive an email with our software download and instructions to begin the tuning process. It is a very straight forward process. You will need a Windows laptop and K+DCAN OBD2 Cable.
You'll essentially check for any codes the car may have and save them. Then pull a backup of the ECU as it currently sits and send it in to us. We'll then build your base map, and send it over to you for uploading. Moving forward, we will exchange datalogs and revisions until your current configuration is optimized.
This tuning package includes FULL Remote Tuning for your forced induction MS45 car. This means, as your setup sits, you will be provided a base map (or retune of the OTS map that came with your, supercharger kit, for example). We will then conduct datalogging to best optimize the tune calibrations to your vehicles setup.
Dyno tuning, and tuning for e85 is certainly possible. Keep in mind there is an extra cost. If you choose to change boost levels, injectors, fuel, etc, within the tuning process, there will be a retuning fee. There's no sense in charging for a whole new tune when just a small aspect of it is changing, but just note, that this tune package pays to create a tune calibration for the CURRENT setup.

For MS45 ECU Tuning, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to use quality cables with updated firmware. Generic cables from ebay and amazon (and similar) with outdated firmware can cause issues when uploading tunes to your ECU. If you are unsure about the cable you might already have, feel free to ask us and we can let you know.

FEATURES(explained):


THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT:

  • OEM+ enhances the stock pedal feel be a bit more lively and responsive.

THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT:

  • We target a lower coolant temperature (based on your selected option) to open the stock E-Thermostat sooner and run the engine at cooler temperatures.

INCREASE IDLE RPM:

  • Increasing idle rpm can be useful for those that have lightweight flywheels and/or stiffer engine/transmission mounts as it can remove the vibration caused by these modification.

RACE CAM IDLE (Choppy Idle):

  • This feature makes your idle lumpy and choppy to sound like it has big cams. Also known as "Ghost Cam."
    Race Cam Idle Modification inherently creates rough idle. This sound affect, some enjoy, although most do not enjoy the rough idle. For this, we provide to separate tunes, one with the function on, and one with it off. Switching between the two will often require adaptations reset. This can easily be done within our software.

POPS AND BANGS/FLAMES/OVERRUN FUEL CUTOFF:

  • This feature enables pops and bangs upon lift off of the throttle. While decelerating, pops and bangs will be omitted from the exhaust. You can select varying ways of enabling this function as well as varying aggressions, some of which can be tailored to a very mild OEM spec setting or, a crazy setting with flames and loud gunshot like bangs. We know it may seem a little complicated on how you would like to have your pops active, so, we'll explain. Check out this Pop and Bang Toggle Styles to read details on the options/styles.

If requested by the customer, Rear O2 and SAP "Bypasses" are intended to notify the ECU of no longer installed hardware which is already removed by the customer. This is NOT used to pass emissions testing, bypass emission equipment, manipulate emission equipment, etc. It is the customer's responsibility to abide by your applicable local, state, and/or federal laws.
